Pavilion builds technology infrastructure that public servants use to deliver better, faster public services from a wider and more diverse set of businesses.
Pavilion was cofounded by Mari Reed & Alicia Chen, two women and parents of young kids. They've hired a diverse team and set that team up to succeed at Pavilion. Diversity and inclusion is one of three core values of Pavilion (we call the value "build a big tent"). Leadership does a great job of setting an example of work-life balance (e.g. clocking out at 5 sharp to pick up kids) and backing that up with generous leave policies. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are carefully considered and prioritized in the hiring process, which has led to the majority of the engineers Pavilion has hired in its history being from underrepresented groups in tech. We're always striving to do better in this area, too!
