ReFED is a U.S.-based nonprofit working to catalyze the food system to take evidence-based action to stop wasting food. We do this by cultivating and convening the food community, delivering actionable evidence and insights, and seeding and accelerating food waste solutions.
We have a commitment to "promote diversity, equity, inclusion & justice as it intersects with food loss and waste" and I would like to live up to that principle in our hiring practices. Food loss, food waste and climate change are impacting marginalized groups the most and I would like to see that reflected in the people at the table trying to resolve these issues.
